Perfect Day

I wake up every morning feeling like P-Diddy. Go to the kitchen and feed the kitty. I stumble to the pantry and take out the bread. Man I've got a pain right inside my head. Take out the milk, and eggs come next. Can't find the Folgers, and I feel a little vexed. I stumble to the fridge, and take out the jelly. The toaster goes ding, and I feed my belly; as I take a peek at what's on the telly. Saturday, Saturday it's the best day. Monday, Monday please just go away I shower off quick, and throw on some jeans. Eat a quick lunch of pork and beans. I go to the park and play some ball. Decide to leave when I get that call. I pull up to the light, and his engine roars. I look at him and nod, and we race like boars. Get home in time to throw on something nice. Check myself in the mirror no more than thrice. I meet her at the place and we have a good time. She's just like me; we both like lime. Saturday, Saturday it's the best day. Monday, Monday please just go away. The night has come, and the lights come on. She's speechless when I beat a guy with just one pawn. To town we fly as time flies by. We buy and devour a delightful pie. Jump in the car, and I pull out the comb. Look at the time; let’s head on home. Get back home, and say “good by”. Holdin’ the remains of my chocolate pie. Lie in bed, and let out a sigh, just as the pink creeps out of the sky. This is the brew for the perfect day. Give it a try; what do you say?
