This Perfect Day

As you grasp my hand softly,

Its as if my heart never got to the point of being empty.

As I look into your brown eyes,

Its as if all my worries are excluded from my crowded mind.

As I gaze at your smile, that illuminates your face,

I cant help but to do the same as our happiness I'll embrace.

As I listen to the sound of your music,

That I cant help but to hear,

Its as if I slip into a trance,

Where time seems to disappear.

As I feel your steady heart beat,

When you hug me tight against your chest,

I cant help but to think about the future,

And hope for the best.

Because you are like no other,

And I hope you'll be mine

On this perfect day,

The holiday of Valentine's
