Perfect Imperfections

I'm not perfect I make mistakes I mean I'm only 17 You expect so much Didn't people tell you that expectations lead to disappointment? I'm not perfect Of course you think that you understand, but you don't. You don't get that the guy that I like, doesn't like me. You don't get that I have 3 hours worth of homework for each AP Class. You don't get that studying for SAT's and ACT's take time, time that you want from me to do unnecessary things. I'm not perfect But the funny thing is you're not perfect either... It's funny isn't it? and kind of ironic don't you think? That someone can expect perfection from one person yet lack the perfection within themselves... We're not perfect... you and I... Yeah, we're human and sometimes we make 2 b's on a report card, or pay a bill late, or even forget to actually understand our kids.. and thats okay because... We're no where near perfect.
