The Perfect Masterpiece

Dear society,

I think it's time to take a closer look at the "masterpiece" you have carefully crafted to satisfy only a select amount of individuals. I believe it's time to listen closely to the voices that need to be heard. The voices that look into the mirror and blame you for the harm she has caused herself. The voices that pity you for exemplifiying an undeniably impossible body image, and ignoring all possibilities of the slightest bit of individuality. Listen to the voices that refuse to express herself, in fear of getting a second look from you as she walks down the street. You are the monster hiding under the bed at night. You swallow women whole, and spit them out, leaving them coated in a thick covering of self-hatred, dripping with despair. I wish you had an idea of how your media is the control center for all women of all ages. They are robots wired to your cynical expectations, charging them up with what you believe is the exceptable way to live. I honestly feel bad for you, and I really do pity the fact that you murder thousands of women a day, and turn your back on the suffering they endured. I hope you learn to change your ways, because I'm not so sure they are working anymore.

Sincerely,

Elese
