Perfect Object

When your words are clouded with anger,
It hurts and irritates her,
YOU don’t have to do that,
She ain’t a child no more,
When YOU think your feelings are more important than her,
YOU don’t have to do that,
Remember she has feelings too?

“Baby, are you trying to be rude to me?” YOU asked.

“I am superior to you! GOD said so!” YOU added. “ I have FULL rights to make any decision about you.” YOU boasted!

That’s how YOU exercise your rights.
To deceive her, to threaten her in the name of GOD!

“Baby, I do it out of love!”
“I never meant to hurt You.”

YOU said this every time to comfort her,
To comfort YOU.

YOU hold her and look at her in the eyes. YOU said, “I know what’s best for you!”

Really?

What is the standard of YOUR BEST?
The society’s STANDARD?
Your STANDARD?
Is it GOD’S STANDARD?
So where is GOD in here?

Which one?
Think Again.

When you think she belongs to YOU.
YOU don’t have to do that,
Remember she’s human too?

Has she ever been disgraceful to YOU?
Has she ever been disobedient to YOU?

Now, ask Yourself.

Have YOU ever wiped away her tears at night?
Have YOU ever known her sorrows?
Have YOU ever asked?
Have YOU ever thought why she doesn’t confide in YOU?

Because your world is full of judgement,
The world that follows your standard,
The world when your rights are superior to her rights.

Love is never one sided,
It’s always two sided,
Love is not a freedom,
When it has claws and chains.

She whispered to herself,
“God, take back my heart,
Make me soulless,
If my words don’t count,
My voice never important,
My life is not my right,
Then, make me a slave,
Slave to this cruel world”.

Because in your eyes it’s always always about YOU.

It’s never about her.

She is only the PERFECT OBJECT.

She perfected YOU.
