The Perfect Storm

 Like sand

On the coast,

I watched you

Slip through

My fingers

Beautifully.

Now I am

Shipwrecked

From the

Most perfect of

Storms.

Alone on

An island

Where

The sand may

Be foreign

But

The memories hit

Home.
