The Perfect Storm

YOU You came into my life like a tidal wave. Inviting me into the chaos, Calling my name with your devilish mouth. I knew when your lips touched mine. I was drowning to deep to save. You took me into that chaos You tumultuously rolled me into dependence Hooking me as if a drug so fine. I found myself unable to breathe, Dependent upon the very breathe you so casually took. Just another victim of your violent overtaking Standing in the aftermath body shaking. My feet once again firmly planted, I look on at the peace that is you with me. “I can breath again finally.” And as the words escaped her lips, your waves were surrounding her again. -Felecia Louise Gibson-
