In a Perfect World
Imagine a world where there is no hate
Where love is universal; without a need to translate.
A world that is safe for everyone to explore
Without jealousy, animosity, grudges or war.
A world where everyone could be who they are,
And kindness and friendship could heal every scar.
A world where we can express ourselves with absence of fear,
That someone might ridicule us if they’d hear.
Society has forgotten the meaning of consideration,
We’ve been so consumed with malice, and trivial frustration.
Just treat others as you’d want to be treated,
Stop being rude, mad, and conceited.
I think the solution can be found within,
Once the anger subsides than the process begins.
It begins with a smile from one to another,
And we get over ourselves and start taking care of eachother.
