Perfection

My life has never been perfect

but what is perfection?

Is perfection when you're always happy

Or can it been when you're sad as well?

Are you only perfect when you're thin

or when your curvy too?

Is perfection when you're married

Or can it be when you're alone?

Is it only when you're young 

or can it continue as you age?

Perfection.

It's a hard term to define.

How can we hold people to the standard of perfection

when we ourselves don't know how to classify it?

You are perfect if you're sad

happy

thick

or thin.

You are perfect if you're gay

Lesbian

Bisexual

Transgender

Don't let others decide whether you are perfect

or not.

Everyone has a different definition

based on the way they see themselves.

Be proud,

be you.
