Perfection
Take the picture.
Too high.
Too low.
Just right.
But what's wrong?
Your nose is too big,
Your smile looks weird,
And your hair looks bad.
Take it again.
And again.
And again.
Again until you're satisfied.
Again until you don't care about what society has taught us:
Perfection is key.
Perfection is it.
Any less is not good enough.
But it is good enough.
YOU are good enough.
Take off the makeup,
Let down the hair,
Be the YOU that you were born as.
Not the one you created to please others.
Take off the filter.
Be natural.
Be YOU.
No one wants any different.
Natural is beautiful,
And you are perfect just the way you are.
