"Perfection"

I look in the mirror at my reflection

I can feel my heartbeat in my ears

My hands shaking on the white countertop

Up until this point I thought I was invincible

I was wrong

I always thought that it could never happen to me

I couldn't have been more wrong

My phone lights up indicating that 5 minutes has passed

I look down

at the only test I have ever wanted to fail

The two lines staring me in the eye determining my fate
