Perfection

You weren't perfect

I'm not either

But we made each other smile

We made the time count

Now it's all gone

No more you

No more us

So I just sit here

Writing poem after poem

About how I wish you wer back

It'd be easier

I think

If we had been fighting

To accept your death

But we weren't

So the choices are hard

And life is difficult to trudge through.
