Perfectly Imperfect

Behind the crooked smile is a little boy who makes me laugh Within the light, squinted eyes, is the curiosity of his path Between the imperfect fingers are spaces for mine to fill Throughout his loving soul is a life abortion would dare to kill Inside the shorter stature is a bravery I will never know Seen through the scars is what the surgeries have to show From the slurred words comes a faith waiting to be heard Since bith; it's a sickness never to be cured Amond his tender heart, is a boy who knows no right from wrong Because of his embrace is where I learned to love so strong
