Perfectly imperfect

I get up in the morning and look in the bathroom mirror

Only to see myself standing there, crystal clear

With no makeup on and hair unbrushed

I take 60 seconds to think about my life, for once unrushed

What do I see? You may ask out of curiosity

I see a 23 year old strong female with undeniable ferocity

Stubborn as any but determined above all

To give my best towards what I hold dearest; to not let myself fall

Perfectly imperfect with my quirks and my talents

I am flawed and I am flawless, it is a wonderful balance
