Perfectly Imperfect
What is perfection?
Is it the flawless skin, hair, face, body?
Or is it the flawed version of all that?
Do the mistakes on me, make me
Perfect
Or
The opposite
Will comparing and shaming my image make me perfect?
No.
It will make me more uglier.
Rather than becoming a copycat robot
Like everyone else
It's best to be the original you that you can be
I am my mistakes and my flaws
I eat them up like a full course meal
For I finally accepted the truth about perfection.
It's a flawed system with no way out.
Once you're in the idea, you can never escape
The lies
I am the acne scars on my body
The bags under my eyes
The hairs all over it,
But the beauty of it all
Is not beauty itself
But acceptance for the way I look and am
There's no one in the world like me
I chose to be the best me that I can
What do you choose?
Do you choose to strive on perfection
or
Be perfectly imperfect.
