Perfectly Molded

Our world started as lies; the foundation of us was cracked and prophesied to die, our destiny was to fail; we brought that on ourselves.

We looked for the cracks and hid obvious truths from each other, we neither wanted to be together nor separated, we hated each other, yet we fell in love with the idea of what we could be.

We took each other's faults and lies and broken promises and put them in the blazing fire to mold them and shape them into something beautiful.

People spend their every second searching, looking, and waiting to touch what we have before it slips from their fingertips.

What we have is beautiful and raw, we formed it to shape who we are, we broke each other down until we were one beautiful person whose cracks were held with gold.

We looked inward into each other's souls and basked in the deepest darkest corners of our existence; we completed each other in a way that no one could ever rip from us.

We have a love that outshines the stars in the heavens, that the gods would be envious of, we have a love that people fight wars over.

Our love goes beyond a time or a place; it concurs the deepest corners of hell and comes out unscathed, we share one heart and one soul, one mind.
