Watch as it falls.

The silence in the room.

The heart inside her.

The tear on his cheek.

The rain as it storms.

Feel the silence.

Of the room.

Of the heart as it beats.

Of the tear running free.

Of the drop of rain, as it storms.

Remember the room.

It's stories behind it.

The look in her eyes.

The feel of his hands.

The flashes of lightening and rolling of thunder.

This story is short.

It took place in this room of silence.

It wasn't silent before the falling.

This story has meaning.

A heart fell into shear happiness. A tear of joy fell from an eye which saw it all.

It's meaning isn't sad.

This story had feelings.

It may have seemed like a dreadful time with the storm running the night.

It may have seemed like an ending.

That is far from it.

This room was the beginning of a memory. This room that couldn't talk, nor feel, or hear, not even see, but knew that it concealed something great. It contained this silent memory.

Watch as the words fall from his lips,

Feel the emotions run through the air,

Remember this moment before it ends,

It's the memory of when he first said, "I love you."

I found that poetry is the one and only way to fully get out what's stuck in my mind/ heart. A dear friend of mine encouraged me to write poetry and ever since then, I've written these poems. In less then a year, my poems have become well liked amongst friends and family. The first 15 I posted are the first 15 I did in a year's time. I write for me, and for other people who want to read them. If you don't like what I write, then don't be hateful. Only be critical.

I've read a few of your poems now and I think they're really great, keep up the good work! I totally fell into the trap here, thinking it was sad but was very pleasantly surprised to find this is a cheerful poem, it put a smile on my face :)
