Permanent Scar
The first cut is the deepest
Or so they say
Honestly the first cut is just the most shocking
In reality we get cut by life a little each day
We begin to bear scars that show the true pain we have inside
Some people bear their scars on the outside
Where everyone can see (if they really looked)
Others keep it hidden
They don't want people to ever see how they really feel
Scars are formed after the initial pain has passed
They become a constant reminder of what has happened
Fortunately not all scars remain visible
As for those that do
A permanent picture is painted as a constant reminder that the past can never be changed
