Permissive ... Satire

1 Corinthians 8:9

But be careful that this liberty of yours does not

become a hindrance to the weak.

Satire

Here I am again myself in the background.

It is observing “I” in embracing its own confusion.

Where has it been today playing all around?

Singing: “My, oh my”, in search for a new infusion

Liberty at risk so I keep it locked up.

It should be feeling safe in its own demise.

Like a near miss I keep it blocked up

for I am too brave to wait for a surprise.

Streamlining life into my own perspective

Dressing up the artificial to be spotted from afar

Attracting all strife by my own permissive

to be detrimental like spirituality in a bar.
