Perpetual Blindness
Shadow of a stranger in a foggy night,
Black smoke rising from the chimneys in winter,
Dark alleyways of the city, with the bells tolling at midnight,
The sinister feeling a lone traveler feels when travelling alone,
Feeling eyes boring into his back,
The melancholy one feels at his death bed,
Bitter beetroot that turns your tongue stark-red,
Cold biting razor,
Smooth, flowing silk,
Then comes the inevitable---
The perpetual darkness of death.
