Perpetual Thief

The window to beyond

Foreshadowing the future of my soul

Endless pain and sorrow days long

Always the same, never more

For what could be or seem

For such a bastard like me?

Tears stream down like rain

Anger and hatred abound

How does one change his fate

And pull himself from the ground?

Sighs of grief swallow my heart

One wrongdoing to curse my life

Gave in to Society's game

When does this circle stop?

Perpetual creation of the thief

By pressures, desires, and need

Predict his falling like the leaf

Be there to kill him while he sleeps

Every soul has the same window

Each soul is doomed to fail

Only thing keeping us going

Is hope; however frail
