Perpetuity Of Love

When the lights are turned Off
the night sky will dim
and fade into black,
with no points to pin,
all of eternity will have
no fire within.
The centuries reborn will extinguish in time,
for my love has gone
a loss,
for all things sublime.
and yet my love shall always be;
a celestial fire burning
forever and ever
in perpetuity.
