Persephone and Hades

    Persephone

He was so nice when we met,

Until one day he would let me leave.

I was given a pomegranate red and sweet,

Six sweet seeds I did eat.

Now I’m his half a year,

But the other half I am here.

Surrounded by nature’s blossoms.

     Hades

She was so beautiful I couldn’t resist,

I couldn’t let her slip away.

She was given a pomegranate red and sweet,

Then six sweet seeds she did eat.

Now she’s mine half a year,

But the other half she is still near,

She is there surrounded by nature’s blossoms.
