Persephone and Hades

She was loved and adored by all

He was gossiped and feared by all

They passed each other in the hallways of school

One look at her, and he felt like a fool

One look at him, and she knew she was in love

He thought she looked like a beautiful flower

She thought he looked like the sun

They met one day behind the school and promised to be true

That they both felt they were meant to be one

That they will never be like his brothers and her mother

This love is different and new

If they forbid this, we'll travel farther

In order to be together

Forever and ever
