Persephone in Hades' dark castleA

Persephone in Hades' dark castle

A little light in the darkness

But still trapped,

Unable to heat the world above.

Selfish, dying people shiver in the cold.

Ravenous and shameless, they live only for themselves.

Their hearts as cold as the weather, they begged for warmth.

The Queen of the Underworld refused to appease them

So she rose to the world above

And brought with her radiation from below.

So strong it would eventually destroy the world

The people cried "the climate is changing!"

But Persephone felt no remorse.
