Persist and Press On

 Persist and Press On

No matter the measure,

No matter the competition,

No matter the difficulty,

I will persist and press on.

Through the rough obstacles,

Over the challenging hardships,

And ambivalence that accompanies,

I will persist and press on.

Disregarding the emotional distress,

Analyzing every aspect of trouble,

Envisioning my struggle,

I will persist and press on.

My work ethic omnipotence,

My ability to persevere,

Exceeding expectations,

I will persist and press on.

My working diligence,

My humble heart ,

Will propel me forward,

Allowing me to persist and press on.

My athletic superiority,

My teachable attitude,

The overcoming of all thing penetrable,

I will persist and press on.

Of all things stated,

It may be hard to see,

Once chance given will be sufficient,

Let me demonstrate the kind of person I will be.

I will persist and press on.
