Persistence
I persist,
Even when I do not wish to do so.
The problems keep rising,
and there's little I can do to control them.
They are boundless,
forming in the unmitigated recollections of the past and the future.
The stumbling is real,
and tears uprise from the eye of the mind,
growing vague and blurred with the pains of distress.
I try to stand above the troubles,
in any way possible,
only to have them reappear in novel forms,
like the playing of light upon water.
Mind battles the matters
with endless persistence as a cliff battered by waves,
continuously.
Yet strength to persist remains from the vexations.
