that person

I wanted you to be that person

I trusted you to be that person

The one who won't break my heart and make me cry

The one I could depend on to never lie

But my expectations were to high it seems

Because reality came in and crushed those dreams

I wanted you to be that person

The one who could make me smile with just one thought

But now all I think of is everything I lost

I wanted you to be that person
