Personal Anthem

The air is high in the sky, it never rains it's always contained. The feeling I can no longer fathom, has become my personal anthem. It burns my skin raw inside my heart has shattered piece fly and say good-bye No words are spoken to clear my mind My vision bleeds red as the words are spoken in my head My dreams are blurry - they go in a hurry All the lies is the reason why my heart has died The stars that witness my mistakes shine down into the Great Lakes The sorrow that has filled my heart has brought nothing but loss Your spirit has died and so have I No words are spoken to clear my mind I walk through death because you left The rain that splattered long ago showed me the memories it held Flowers decorate your grave it is now my great save I finally found the reason why I cry I attempt to hide all my mistakes for living a lie Life never held peace for me my faith is shakier than a leaf Your grave haunts my dreams sending me to the depths of darkness I never knew the world that gave you only peace These wounds inside my hearts have never faded with time they remain within my soul My world has gone the pieces fly and say good-bye I will never be swell for this grave haunts my spirit well Beyond my horizon my sun has faded away Blackness has conquered my eerie mind I am no left with all these feelings I can not longer fathom it has now become my personal anthem
