Personal Prison

Location

Never confident in my skin

Thinking of who I could have been

Tried to blend into the scene

To be a prop, a little thing

Hiding from the judgment and hate

Worried even about the things I ate

To hide from judgment of whom you are

To lock yourself behind your bars

Now I see the belief in the real me

My opportunities are as vast as the sea

Never again will I hide my talent

Ready to see after my absence

Never confident in my skin

Thinking of who I could have been

Tried to blend into the scene

To be a prop, a little thing

Hiding from the judgment and hate

Worried even about the things I ate

To hide from judgment of whom you are

To lock yourself behind your bars

Now I see the belief in the real me

My opportunities are as vast as the sea

Never again will I hide my talent

Ready to see after my absence
