Personally Thinking
To the thoughts in the back of my head:
You hurt me daily
You really, really do.
But when I have nothing else to think about
I’m forced to think of you.
I think happy thoughts often
But sad thoughts almost more,
I think myself into made up situations
Until my little head gets sore.
I think about my past
And my happy times as a toddler,
I think about how close I was
To both my mother and father.
I think about my future
How I want my life to be
How I need to try my best
To make it become a reality.
I think about the present
That I only have a few months left
Until I get to walk across the stage
And wish my classmates the best.
I think what I think about most
Is that I want happiness and stability
And hopefully when I get to that point
I’ll have a sense of tranquility.
I think I want to find inner peace
At least before I die,
So thinking about it now
I suppose I have plenty of time.
So to the thoughts in my head
That I always go through
Thanks for all the good and bad times
And here’s to you.
Forever yours, Your Favorite Listener.
