Perspective

I cry, I weep, I mourn and yearn.

My heart keeps continuing to burn.

For her I love, for her I care,

but she keeps putting me into dispair.

I hold her hand, she pushes it away.

I keep on begging her just to stay.

We hug, we kiss,

Why does it keep going amiss?

A hollow hole begins to form,

always leaving me more forlorn.

I gave her my heart,

she then goes out and rips it apart.

Long I've spent searching for peace,

in the bible, I've signed my lease.

For in that place I've finally found love,

with God our Father, the Lord above.
