Perspective

Man

Life is so hard

All these classes

All this work

Saving money just to throw it in the education system

Will I really get a job?

Will my degree mean anything?

Man

Life is so hard

All these rats

All this struggle

Losing money just to see my babies starving

Will I ever get a job?

Will my life ever mean anything?

Man

Life is so hard

All these deadlines

All this effort

Dodging commitments just to stare at my TV screen

Will the Man ever stop?

Will I ever see a beach?

Man

Life is so hard

All these temptations

All this alcohol

Forgetting commitments just to make the pain go away

Will I ever stop?

Will I ever see my family again?

Man

Life is so hard

All these low-lifes

All this laziness

Lying to the government just to get out of work

Will they ever get jobs?

Will they ever stop leeching my paycheck?

Man

Life is so hard

All these bills to pay

All this cancer

Fighting the hard fight just to fall on my knees

Will my daughter ever be the same again?

Will I ever be the same again?

Man

Life is so hard

All these lost games

All this trading

Losing games left and right just to get a bigger paycheck

Will the players ever get their shit together?

Will the referees ever actually pay attention?

Man

Life is so hard

All these bacteria

All this warfare

Searching for water just to find it spoiled with the blood of soldiers

Will my aching belly ever remember food?

Will my pregnant sister ever survive?

Man

Life is so hard

All these perspectives

All this misunderstanding

Judging all others just to miss judging oneself

Will we ever open our eyes?

Will we ever spend a day in another person’s shoes?
