Perspective

My wish is that

When someone is about to take violence

Or hate, or fear against another

They would suddenly gain the ability

To see from their victim’s perspective;

They would see all the goodness

Inside their ‘enemy’s’ heart,

And all the bad that they themselves project

But that a limited perspective blinds them to.

And then maybe

 There would be more understanding than ever before.

If only people could break out

Of their terminally self-centered perspective.
