petals

I fell in love like petals fall to the earth...

off come the:

fragments

of flower petals

contemplating whether

You love me

You love me not

You love me

down go the:

petals

drift to your feet

You never notice; neither do i

“je t’adore”

your lips whisper

We are apart

our destiny, made

with mistakes but with support and encouragement

where hope is discovered

oh how i love You

I fell in love like petals fall to the earth

So this is love

Are we healthy?

love is the red sun protruding through the darkness of the night

health is the water mirroring the sun early morning glow

love is the morning glory blooming to let the sun’s face touch its purple petals

because I love you

love is the sound of the bees’ monotone dialogues

health is the bird that wants to share its morning tale in melody

love is the warmth of the sun blanketing over honey skin

you cover me with your jacket, holding me close, protecting me

love is the butterflies’ wings splashed with bright yellows and blues

love is the dewdrop on the grass as it slowly creeps down to kiss the soil

you gently kiss my forehead

because you love me

health is the crystalline contour of a rain drop

health is trust given like a cherry blossom

The only way it grows is if you care and nurture it.

Trust is earned and nurtured through truth and love

I trust you trust me

We are healthy

You wouldn't’t let me fall

But I did

like petals fall to the earth

in love

you tell me to never lose faith, keep your chin up

you lower my white flag with splendor

you tell me to dream and seek what I desire

you strengthen my confidence

we develop

we are healthy

because I love you
