Petals

I see a gem casting no shadow, nestled in the warmth of yet burrowing snow, illuminating traces of rays
emanating through ominous clouds, you amplify past the
skies and burrowed yet unconfined crystals we be, scattering the droplets of morning's fresh scented mist,
you flick radiance that glisten the damp moisture
cradling my eyes, I squint fine focus your
luster that sear my lens the complexion of your
silhouette, yet brisk fog liquesce the layers furling my eyes, unveiling
the petals of my element, as I drift to slumber over
the glow of your luminating snow, blurred, seeing only your
bright silhouette whistling amidst abyss
