Pete

While walking home from work, I found a box. The box was in the middle of the street. I picked it up an inside was a fox. And then it talked! He said his name was Pete. “Illusion!” I thought. So I played along. “Why Pete are you sad in the street crying?” “I want a family that I belong.” He said “No one cares if I was dying.” While holding back tears I said” Let’s be friends.” He looked up with glee and started to cry. Pete screamed “I will be you friend to the very end!” We walked home and bid his sorrows good bye. “Mrs. Walker that why I’m late to school!” “Still got detention but your stories cool!’
