Peter Pan

Fly with me, he said.

Out the window, we fled.

What a view, I thought.

Should I let go? Better not.

To be with him,

The chances were slim.

He was young.

I was young.

But the difference?

He was forever young.

Years passed by,

To say I don't miss him,

Would be one big lie.

I sit here now,

Old and grey.

I will forever,

Cherish that day.

He who chose to not be a man.

His name was Peter,

Peter Pan.

My favorite part has to be the first two sentences. I loved how it flowed. It sounded beautiful to me.
