Sweetly lies upon my lips, The promise giv'n through angel's kiss Remaining there upon my skin The fragrance of, so sweet within Let that angel, with wings unseen His heart protect, his mind stay keen A prayer, O Lord, for him I sing My angel bent on hov'ring wing
