Prologue
It was that day that we made together
And we always had the stormy weather
It’s kind of funny how I thought we’d last
Now you’re just memories of my past
Not figments of my imagination
But seems you only brought agitation
But you are just my superficial phase
And the times like this call for a sad case
It seemed like you sold me a false dream
I look back on the wild animal ream
Yes ream because it was a pile shit
In ear, spoke to me every time you spit
And I admit that you did spit the game
Yet it’s stupid to me cause now its lame
I don’t have the time to feel so a shame
I hate the fact you even knew my name
Ain’t no need to just stagger and ponder
Talking about now oh how I wonder
Telling me now that I’m such a bliss, says
Not like I even gave you my kisses
Like I said you’re my superficial phase
And the times like this call for my bad days
I mean times like this call for a sad case
My artificial, superficial phase
The Phase
Late Nights like this call for some mad trouble
Don’t feel we were even a real couple
Early mornings, like some kind of fantasy
And right now you feeling real dead to me
You prolly think I was a dream maker
But in the end I’m just your heartbreaker
And that’s what you get for doing me down
Bet that felt like a shot to your chest, pow
I bet ya’ll think this shit comes so smooth
Had to break this fool for messin’ my groove
When I told you I was done, kaput
I didn’t tell you that my heart was took
Was by you, for you I lived for you
At a young age could barely count to two
Two heart breaks, something I was of virgin
Safe to say ain’t had another again
Like it was you’re my artificial kindling
My bones built up to be so unfriendly
Our same pulses it could and should have been
A perfect fairy tale, it would have been
Bones rubbing together we should have been
Bones rubbing together we could have been
At the moment we’re hearts lying closest
Face touching so close we’re at our noses
Our hands locked together as one fist
But your soul now extravagantly, pissed
Should of, would of, could of ain’t grow grey hairs
I taught myself to never show I care
wanted me to feed breathe in your depression
I’m refusing to be your obsession
Ironic that I was your addiction
A stale mate causing my affliction
It’s kind of funny how I thought we’d last
Now you’re just a bitter taste of my past
Eternity by chance ain’t have my side
Turns out you were only some kind of slide
A slide to just hopefully get by
Finally, right before I tell you bye
I will explain how I’m feeling inside
I decided to repeat one more time
It was that day that we made together
And we always had the stormy weather
It’s kind of funny how I thought we’d last
Now you’re just memories of my past
Not figments of my imagination
But seems you only brought agitation
But you are just my superficial phase
And the times like this call for a sad case
