Phase
Everyday in our lives we experience drama and stress
With being confused and lost, we get so depressed
At times we feel isolated and feel like we don't belong here
When we are struggling we just want to disappear
Some times our life falls apart, like a rock that crumbles
Most teenagers during their life have also once stumbled
There is too much pressure on us and it gets crazy
Our mind goes completely blank and we turn lazy
Happy, mad, sad, tired our feelings always seem to change
Parents and adults may think that we act strange
But they do not know how it feels like to be a teenager
Only we know how to control ourselves from danger
At school it's different, it's another story
We pretend to be someone we aren't and just want the glory
Under each mask there is someone that is afraid
They don't want to show who they really are, but they need aid
During school we get so much work and it makes us streesed
Teachers say that it's for our best and we should be blessed
When dealing with friends and drama we never get rest
We want our thoughts to be heaerd and expressed
In today's world people don't like you for who you are
But if they really knew you, you would make it far
Everyone should be able to say how they feel
It's not being rude, it's known as being real
the older we get the more we learn
We just need more time for us to turn
Wishing we were kids agiain when nothing really mattered
All day we play games like chutes and ladders
But being a teen is really not that bad
We have more freedom, so we should be glad.
