Phenomenal/Flawless

Maya Angelou called herself
a phenomenal woman,
so why should I not
do the same
for myself?
I am phenomenal.
I am flawless
with my
beautiful eyes,
my hips,
my thighs
and they do not
fall victim
to your lies
that I must be
perfect in the eyes
of society,
No.
I am flawless
in the way that
I talk and
the way that
I walk,
so do not mock
my beauty
when you cannot
even see it
in yourself.
