Phillis Wheatley

Sold to slavery at the age of eight ,

Thrown on a ship with no debate,

Sold to a wealthy boston merchant,

Had a love for poetry  very much worth it,

Love love for freedom hits,

Children children oh dear children she had,

Three  no more but so very  young at age she had,

A lady who hasn’t gone mad,

She wasn’t very bad,

She died oh that’s very so sad,

That’s not all I got to add,

she was bought from John wheatley ,

Who had treated her very sweetly,

Phillis wheatley writes so neatly,

What a poem she wrote,

Like a short little note,

Sinking fast away like a  little boat,

What a lady what a lady ,

In boston newspapers in February 1772,

Wow what all could she do?

A lady a lady who  could do a lot ,

She was greatly taught,

With all her heart to follow her dreams,

 Greatly without doubt ,

A book was  written all about her in 1773,

Iḿ M, I like reading, writing, cooking, acting, and helping others. Good luck to other poets out there, and never give up on your dreams. No matter how hard it seems.
