Philosophical - Fear

My heart beats fast,

My breath sounds loudly,

This is fear,

In all it's forms,

Fear,

Will be your enemy,

Gives you wings,

Fear,

It is such a simple concept,

Fear is,

But once you understand,

It doesn't get easier,

You're still afraid,

You're still scared,

You can't stop it,

Fear,

What are you scared of,

Spiders,

The dark,

Loud noises,

Monsters,

People,

I'm scared of fear,

When I'm scared,

I'm not myself,

My body isn't mine,

I give myself up,

To fear,

Because I'm scared,

A silly thing to be afraid of,

Isn't it,

Fear,

But you can't fight it,

Not when you're scared of fear itself.
