We rise

Together from the ashes

Once troubled

From our fall away from glory

We built each other up

Like a magnificent kingdom

We would soon set the world ablaze

Like starlight

The night sky would shine because of us

Leaving a trail from the past

And letting our galaxy minds

Lead us to the future

One with days

Filled with honeycomb sunrises

That we would spend in each other’s arms

Flying higher and higher

Like the great red-wood forests

Shooting into the sky

And even as we flew through thunderous skies

Our fire would shine brighter

As winter storms pelted us with ice and cold

We burn through our path

And if either of us

Took another fall from grace

We would rise from the ashes once more

And lift each other up into the skies

Higher than ever before

That is where we belong

For the sky is our domain

And that domain is endless
