The Phoenix

The flames of injustice have been ignited

Thousands of tears united

The hearth is doused in gasoline

A city burns amid their screams

History chained to our feet

With which we use to run the streets

A banner waves, the cities cry

For those who left without goodbyes

From the ash, returned to the past, we live in fear again (a-gain)

A time where chains were literal and all we reaped was grain

A renaissance, a revival, a remembrance of survival

Beyond the flames, those who try to tame, lies a hero unrivaled

The phoenix waits to rise again and make its grand arrival
