Phoenix Rising

Shes got a hidden smile with a secret soul,

A phoenix will and a heart of gold.

Shes got the body of a tiger,

With stripes that she earned.

A winner of circumstance,

A page over turned.

A devil inside her, that wont break her down,

She pushes through days, her feet on the ground.

She's a winner in her own right,

A fighter by chance.

For you cannot break her,

She will teach you the dance.

A daily struggle to live, a struggle to be free,

Free from her own mind, For it wont let her be.

A disease unseen yet not unheard,

She will welcome you, when she gets up the nerve.

It attacks here and there, yet she always wins,

A victim to the devil, and all of his sins.

A determined young mother; a mamma wolf is she,

To teach her cub the way it could be.

For the will to further her knowledge,

To show her to follow her dreams.

And let nothing break you,

not even the unseen.

A lesson in life, bound to be learned,

a lesson in freedom, in knowledge in turn.

For lessons in life do not come free,

Sacrifices must be made, sacrifices from she.

For the hand of the devil, plays evil games,

But keep your head up, never hang it in shame.

You see the devil, he cant get me,

I have a power much stronger then he.

A yearning for power much stronger then his,

a knowledge further then ever exists.

A wise soul so I'm told, That I must pass down,

a cub needs to learn to stay low to the ground.

Her mother of strength and of courage,

Her mother of will and of dreams.

A secret fighter in the night, But a survivor was she,

For a love much more then can be seen.

For a heart much stronger then can be,

Her mother a wolf as someday she will need.
