I am calling to speak to the nation

The nation that puts money before morals

Body counts before blessings

Race above race

Hello?

Can you hear me now?

Is the connection too African American for your caucasian

I’m sorry

But a minute this is left unspoken is another soul left broken in the hands of a devil we see so blindly

Are you still there?

This is an emergency

An I refuse to be put on hold

God survived on the cross for me

So that I may free

But this nation has brought nothing but taped mouths and shackled feet

Do I have the wrong number?

We are taught to make man our goddess and forget who God is

And we are taught that 911 is not on our side but never that God is

“In God we trust” But we feel the need to carry blood in our own hand

And stress relievers in the other

I am calling to speak to my nation

Your Nation

His Nation

Her Nation

All built with different techniques

Little tweaks

And gifts meant to change the course of history

Built to preach the gospel

As if we were disciples

Walking the earth to tell of his many wonders

So tell me

Do I have the wrong number?
