Photograph

A fading photograph
black and white,
Captured the sadness,
pain and strife
Time stood still
for just a blink
That didn/'/t help
for the pain to shrink
Now im looking
at all the frowns
Wondering about
all the ups and downs
I hope for peace
and calm you see
I don/'/t want the person
in the picture to be me
