PHOTOGRAPH

Wish that I'd said yes

when you asked me if I could.

Wish that I'd agreed

when you asked me if we could go home together.

Wish that I could go back on that one sunny afternoon

and waited for you to come soon.

To hugged you.

Years have passed and all I have now

are the words scribbled in paper and in my heart.

Living memories that are no longer alive,

what's left is a photograph that sends a pang to my heart...

Knocking, telling me...

that we're now miles away...

From being together again.
